For the past several months, I’ve been working on something close to my heart — a project that started as a simple question: what if drawing near to the Father could be as calming and as tactile as coloring a picture?
The result is Time With Abba, a twelve-volume devotional coloring book series that walks through Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, one month at a time. Each volume pairs a King James Version verse with an original devotional reflection, a question meant to sit with you rather than be answered quickly, a full-page coloring scene drawn from that day’s clearest picture of who God is, and a journaling page where you can write your own response before moving on.
This wasn’t meant to be a series you rush through. Every page is printed on one side only, so markers and pens won’t bleed through to the next drawing, and pages tear out cleanly if you’d rather frame one or give it away. The idea is that coloring slows the hands down just enough to let the heart catch up — and that a devotional doesn’t have to live only in your head. Sometimes it needs to live in your fingers too.
The series moves through the whole story of Scripture across the year: Volume 1 opens with the King who has come, Genesis to the Law fills the early months, the prophets and the Servant Songs carry the middle of the year, and by December, Volume 12 closes with the Advocate, the Lamb, and the New Jerusalem. Along the way, you’ll walk through the holiness and kindness of God, the Promised Land, the reigns of kings and judges, the ministry and resurrection of Christ, exile and the Spirit poured out, and the suffering and righteousness of God — twelve months, twelve pictures of who He is.
Each volume is available individually for $7.99, and the complete twelve-volume set is available as a bundle for $69 — a savings over buying each month separately, and a full year’s rhythm of Scripture, reflection, and rest in one place. All of them are instant PDF downloads, 8.5 x 8.5 inches, print-ready at home.
You can browse the full series and start wherever your year begins in the shop.
My hope for this series is simple — that it gives you a quiet way back to the Father, one page and one verse at a time.
