A Letter from Your Father: Love, Abba

Have you ever wondered what God really thinks about you? Not what you fear He thinks, and not what others have told you, but what He says in His Word.

I gathered dozens of promises from Genesis to Revelation and wrote them as one letter, from the Father’s heart to yours. Read it slowly. Better yet, read it out loud and put your own name where it says “Dear child.”

Dear child,

I created you in My image. Through your trust in My only begotten Son Jesus, I am with you and have blessed you with every blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. I intend good for you and am concerned about you. I know you by name and walk with you. I fight for you and carry you as a father carries his child. I never abandon you and have chosen you. I guard you as the apple of My eye and carry you between my shoulders. I ride on the heavens to help you and am pleased to make you My own. I surround you with favor and have crowned you with glory and honor. I appointed you to be a part ruler over everything I have made along with My other children. I rescue you and grant you your heart’s desire. I listen to your cry for help and accept you. My eyes are on you and I am near you. I am your helper and bestow glory on you. I am your refuge and your Good Shepherd. I know your ways and am full of compassion for you. I provide for you and take pleasure in you. I make you beautiful and carry you in My bosom. I hold your right hand and have redeemed you. I love you and deem you precious in My sight. I have blotted out your transgressions and will carry you even into old age. I have carved you on the palm of my hand and am the One who strengthens you. I call you back to Me and with deep love, I will take you back. I will show you My love for ever and Myself will teach you. I gave Myself for you and revive your spirit. I comfort you and give you a new name. I set you apart. Before I made you in your mothers’ womb, I knew you and will love you forever. I wash you clean and put a new heart within you. I am kind to you and return to you what has been taken away. I know you and joy over you with singing. I make you to shine as jewels in a crown and have made you as light in My world. I consider you most valuable and give you good things. I seek after you and gave My only Son for you. I will not leave you comfortless and chose you and appointed you to bear much fruit. I give you My own peace and desire to reveal more of Myself to you as you seek Me. I am praying for you and do not condemn you as I have seen your repentance and your heart believing in my operation, My finished work of the sacrifice of My Son Jesus on the cross. I set you free from the law of sin and death and My Spirit make you my child. All creation awaits My revealing My sons. I work all things together for good for you for you are called according to My purpose and are being conformed to the image of Jesus. If I am for you who can be against you? I call you and am drawing you into deeper fellowship with Me. I put My seal on you. I make you a sweet savor to Me. I have reconciled you to Myself and have become a father to you. I became poor for you and have sent forth My Spirit into your heart. I am rich in mercy towards you and give you My power to do more than you can ask or think. I deliver you from the power of darkness and have made you alive. I have washed you in my own blood.

Love,
Abba

Let it sink in
Every line of this letter comes from Scripture. You are not forgotten, you are not condemned, and you are not alone. You are known by name, carved on the palm of His hand, and loved with an everlasting love.

If you’ve never trusted Jesus as your Savior, this letter is your invitation. The Father gave His only Son for you, and He is calling you home today. Just talk to Him: tell Him you believe Jesus died and rose again for you, and ask Him to make you His child.

If this letter blessed you, share it with someone who needs to hear from their Father today.
