Here are the lyrics of the new musical I released inspired by the Book of Revelation called “Apocalypse Flow.”
1
[Intro – Soundscape]
( “Holy… Holy…”)
[Spoken Word – John]
I was in the Spirit, wrapped in His fire,
Exiled on Patmos, yet lifted higher.
Behind me— a Voice, trumpet-bright,
Calling my soul into piercing light.
⸻
[Chorus]
I was in the Spirit—storm in my chest,
Thunder in a whisper, fire in my breath.
Turn, behold—Eyes of blazing love;
He holds the keys; He lifts me up.
⸻
[Verse 1 – John]
Bronze-bright feet on the island stone,
Seven stars whirl—no fear, I’m known.
Robe of glory, sash of gold,
The First and Last, the Ancient told:
“Write to the churches what you see,
Lampstands burn, My word is free.”
⸻
[Pre-Chorus – (Shadow Chorus)]
Holy One—burning flame,
Living Word, eternal Name.
Keys of death and Hades fall,
Every knee will hear the call.
⸻
[Bridge – Son of Man / Voice Like a Trumpet]
“Do not fear, I am He,
The Living One, eternity.
I was dead—now alive again,
Holding forever, beginning and end.
Write what you see—what soon must be,
My word resounds, eternity!”
⸻
[Final Chorus –in harmony]
In the Spirit—lightning’s breath,
Life that conquers, undoing death.
Turn and see—Eyes of blazing love;
He holds the keys; He lifts us up.
Song 2 – “Seven Letters”
(Jesus’ Voice, John, The Church)
[Jesus’ Voice – melodic spoken/rap]
To Ephesus—you’ve labored, endured, held true,
But you’ve lost your first love—return, renew.
Smyrna—you’re crushed, yet rich in My sight,
Be faithful unto death, wear the crown of life.
Pergamum—you dwell where Satan’s throne lies,
Hold My name, but compromise dies.
Thyatira—your love and works grow,
But Jezebel’s teaching has to go.
Sardis—you look alive, but your spirit’s asleep,
Wake up, strengthen what little you keep.
Philadelphia—you’re small, but strong,
An open door awaits—hold fast, hold on.
Laodicea—lukewarm, neither hot nor cold,
Buy fire-refined gold, white robes to behold.
[John – scribing rap]
He who has ears, let him hear what’s said,
The faithful will rise with crowns on their head.
Overcomers eat from the tree of life,
Walk clothed in white, conquer the strife.
[The Church – hook with gospel choir harmonies]
Seven letters, burning bright,
Warning and promise, darkness and light.
To the faithful He calls, to the weary He sings,
Hold on, overcome—He’s the King of kings!
Song 3 – “Throne Room”
(John, Angelic Chorus, Elders)
[John – awe-struck hip-hop]
A door stood open, a voice said, “Come here,”
In the Spirit I rose, Heaven’s vision drew near.
A throne set in glory, One seated in flame,
Jasper and carnelian, thunder in His name.
Around the throne—emerald rainbow gleam,
Lightning flashes, rumbling stream.
Seven blazing torches, the Spirit’s fire,
Crystal sea shining like glass, rising higher.
Twenty-four elders in white array,
Golden crowns falling as they bow and say:
[Elders – rhythmic chant]
Worthy! Worthy! You reign supreme,
Creator of all, the source, the dream!
[Angelic Chorus – layered gospel chant]
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come—ever mighty!
[John – closing rap, awestruck]
Creatures with wings, eyes front and back,
Never resting, holy soundtrack.
Heaven resounds with unending praise,
The Lamb and the Father exalted always.
[Full Company – swelling finale for the scene]
Holy, holy, glory resounds,
Thunder and lightning, crowns on the ground.
In the throne room, forever we sing,
Honor and power to Christ our King!
Song 4 – “Worthy the Lamb”
(Angel, John, Elder, Elders & Creatures, Full Company)
[Angel – proclamation rap]
Who is worthy to open the scroll,
Break seven seals, reveal God’s goal?
No one in heaven, no one on earth,
No one below with power or worth.
[John – anguished rap]
I wept and I wept, despair in my chest,
No one could open, no one could bless.
[Elder – hopeful rap, pointing]
Don’t cry, behold—the Lion of Judah!
Root of David, He’ll see it through ya.
Look—He appears, not fierce with sword,
But a slain Lamb standing, crowned as Lord.
[Elders & Creatures – triumphant chorus, layered harmonies]
Worthy is the Lamb, slain yet alive,
Power and riches and wisdom derive.
Honor and glory and blessing we sing,
Crown Him forever, victorious King!
[Full Company – swelling reprise]
Every creature in heaven, on earth and sea,
Join in the anthem, eternity’s decree.
“To Him on the throne and the Lamb we proclaim,
Blessing and honor and power, His name!”
[Final shout – unified]
Worthy! Worthy! Worthy the Lamb!
Song 5 – “Four Horsemen”
(Narrator, Horsemen, Ensemble)
[Narrator – ominous rap]
Seal one broken—behold, a white steed,
Bow in his hand, crown—power and greed.
He rode out conquering, bent on control,
False peace promised, but it costs your soul.
Seal two torn—red horse burns,
Sword in his hand, the battlefield turns.
Peace ripped away, brother against brother,
Blood on the ground, nations kill each other.
Seal three cracked—black horse strides,
Scales in his hand, famine abides.
Wheat for a day’s wage, barley the same,
Plenty for the rich, but the poor bear shame.
Seal four roared—pale horse dire,
Death in the saddle, Hades on fire.
A fourth of the earth consumed in their ride,
Sword, famine, plague—no place to hide.
[Horsemen – layered chant, one voice per rider]
White horse—crown and deceit!
Red horse—war in the street!
Black horse—bread runs thin!
Pale horse—death rushes in!
[Ensemble – haunting hook]
Four horsemen ride, earth trembles below,
Judgments unleashed, the heavens foreknow.
Four horsemen ride, thunder and flame,
History bends, but the Lamb still reigns!
Song 6 – “The Martyrs Cry”
(Martyrs, John, Angel Ensemble)
[Martyrs – lamenting rap]
How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true,
Before You judge those who pierced and slew?
Blood spilled on earth, we laid down our breath,
Crowned with white robes, we conquered through death.
Our voices rise from under the throne,
We cry for justice that is Yours alone.
Not vengeance of man, but Your holy decree,
Set captives free, let the nations see.
[Angel Ensemble – soft echo]
Rest a little longer, children of flame,
Your brothers and sisters will bear the same.
The number must fill, the witness complete,
Then thunder and justice resound from His seat.
[John – reflective spoken word / rap]
Their cry shakes heaven, their faith holds strong,
Patience in suffering till right conquers wrong.
White robes shimmer, promise secure,
The Lamb is the answer, steadfast and pure.
[Company – refrain, swelling]
How long, O Lord? Your kingdom come,
Your will be done, till justice is done.
How long, O Lord? Your people pray,
We’ll wait in hope for the coming day.
Song 7 – “Earthquake & Stars”
(John, Angels, Multitude Ensemble)
[John – cosmic rap]
Sixth seal cracked, the sun turned black,
Moon like blood, stars fell like a stack.
Sky split open, scroll rolled tight,
Mountains quake, the world takes fright.
Kings and captains, rich and poor,
Cry to the rocks, “Hide us, we implore!”
From the wrath of the Lamb, who can stand?
The day has come, His judgment at hand.
[Angels – interlude chant]
Hold back the winds, don’t strike the field,
Till servants of God on their brows are sealed.
Twelve tribes counted, twelve thousand each,
Marked as His own, redemption in reach.
[Multitude Ensemble – soaring gospel rap/chorus]
From every nation, tribe, and tongue,
Robes washed white, salvation sung!
We cry aloud before His throne,
“Salvation belongs to God alone!”
[Company – refrain]
Earthquake and stars, heavens shake,
The Lamb is coming, make no mistake.
Sealed by His blood, forever we’ll stand,
One great multitude, lifted hand in hand.
Song 8 – “Seven Trumpets”
(Seven Angels, John, Woe Chorus)
[Seven Angels – driving rap]
First trumpet blazes, hail and fire fall,
One third of the trees, green grass—all.
Second trumpet—mountain burning, cast in the sea,
Blood in the waters, ships wrecked violently.
Third trumpet sounds, a star strikes down,
Wormwood poisons the rivers around.
Fourth trumpet—sun, moon, stars struck dim,
One third the light, day wanes thin.
[John – aside]
Trumpets of warning, mercy’s appeal,
Yet hearts stay hard as judgments unseal.
Creation groans, the heavens shake,
But still there’s room for the lost to awake.
[Woe Chorus – ominous chant]
Woe, woe, woe to earth below,
Three trumpets remain, terror to show.
Repent, return, before it’s late,
The Lamb still opens the narrow gate.
[Company – refrain]
Trumpets sound, the heavens cry,
Judgment falls, yet grace is nigh.
Seven trumpets, thunder roll,
Calling every nation, every soul.
Song 9 – “Woe, Woe, Woe”
(Eagle, Fifth Angel, Locusts Ensemble, Sixth Angel, Horsemen Ensemble, John)
[Eagle – shrill cry over siren-like synths]
Woe, woe, woe to earth’s residents left,
Trumpets five, six, seven bring judgment’s heft.
The sky grows black, the pit unlocks,
Prepare for torment, time on the clock.
[Fifth Angel – dark hip-hop beat]
Smoke rises high from abyss below,
Locusts unleashed, their fury flows.
Crowns of gold, faces of men,
Hair like women, stingers again.
[Locusts Ensemble – taunting rap]
Five long months we torment and bite,
No death allowed, just endless night.
Agony burns with scorpion sting,
Despair is the anthem, suffering sings.
[Sixth Angel – pounding rhythm]
Loose the four angels, bound till this hour,
Unleash the horde with demonic power.
From Euphrates’ banks, the horsemen ride,
Two hundred million sweep the tide.
[Horsemen Ensemble – militaristic chant]
Fire and smoke, sulfur we spew,
A third of mankind, judgment’s due.
Lion-headed steeds, tails that kill,
We ride, we roar, we break your will.
[John – shaken, reflective rap]
Yet even then they did not repent,
Idols of gold, their hearts still bent.
Trumpets sound, but mercy waits,
Still calling sinners to heaven’s gates.
Song 10 – “Little Scroll”
(Mighty Angel, John, Angel Chorus)
[Mighty Angel – majestic rap over pounding drums & strings]
Rainbow crown, face blazing like the sun,
Feet of fire—sea and land, both undone.
Hand lifted high, swearing by His throne,
“The time is no more, the mystery shown.”
The seventh trumpet soon will declare,
The kingdom belongs to the Lamb everywhere.
[John – reflective rap, with shifting beat]
He gave me a scroll, little yet profound,
Sweet on my lips, but it burned me down.
Tasted like honey, then twisted inside,
Prophecy’s burden I cannot hide.
Eat the word, let it cut, let it heal,
The call to proclaim is fire and steel.
[Angel Chorus – chant-like hook]
Take the scroll, eat it whole,
Sweetness and sorrow filling the soul.
Prophesy, speak, let the nations hear,
Judgment and mercy—both draw near.
[John – final lines, rising intensity]
I must testify of kingdoms and kings,
Of trials and trumpets, of judgment that stings.
The Word in my bones, I can’t stay still,
I’ll prophesy again—His purpose fulfilled.
Song 11 – “The Two Witnesses”
(Two Witnesses, Beast from the Abyss, Crowd, John)
[Two Witnesses – defiant hip-hop, stomping beat]
Clothed in sackcloth, prophets of flame,
Testify in power, exalt His name.
Olive trees, lampstands, Spirit’s might,
We stand as a witness in day and night.
Shut the heavens, no rain will fall,
Turn rivers to blood, judgment’s call.
Till the beast comes up, war to wage,
But truth is written on history’s page.
[Beast from the Abyss – menacing low-end rap]
From the depths I rise, abyss unsealed,
Make war on the saints, their fate revealed.
Strike ‘em down, their bodies displayed,
In the city of sin where my power’s paraded.
For the nations rejoice, their torment ceased,
But darkness rejoices too soon in the beast.
[Crowd – mocking chorus, with drums & claps]
Gifts exchanged, prophets shamed, bodies lie,
Street theater spectacle under the sky.
No breath, no pulse, our laughter rings,
We silence the voices that spoke of the King.
[John – narration over swelling strings & choir]
But after three days, the breath returns,
The Spirit of life makes the whole world learn.
They stand on their feet, terror grips the land,
A voice from heaven calls, “Come—take My hand!”
[Company – soaring finale of the scene]
They ascend through the clouds, glory fills the sky,
A quake shakes the city, the nations cry.
Fear falls on all, the truth shines bright,
The kingdom advances, His power, His might!
Song 12 – “The Woman and the Dragon”
(Narrator, Dragon, Child & Voice, Angel Chorus)
[Narrator – symbolic rap, steady beat]
A woman clothed with the blazing sun,
Moon at her feet, her crown has begun.
Twelve shining stars, the tribes in her head,
Groans of labor, the promise ahead.
A dragon appears—scarlet and vast,
Seven heads, ten horns, shadows cast.
Tail swept a third of the stars from the sky,
He waits to devour, the child when it cries.
[Dragon – snarling rap, heavy bass]
I’ll crush the child, I’ll steal His throne,
Rule this earth, make it my own.
Kings and nations bend to me,
No Son of Man will ever be free.
[Child & Voice – bright heavenly rap with choral backing]
The child is born, His rule secure,
Destined to reign, His throne is sure.
Caught up to God, no power can bind,
The Lamb has triumphed, salvation defined.
[Angel Chorus – swelling chant over trap-gospel fusion]
The woman flees, wilderness fed,
Kept by the Lord, by His hand she’s led.
War in heaven, dragon cast down,
The blood of the Lamb wears victory’s crown!
[Company – climactic hook]
The woman, the dragon, the struggle is real,
But heaven declares what no beast can steal.
Overcome by the blood, by the word we cry,
The kingdom is the Lord’s till the end of time!
Song 13 – “The Beast and the False Prophet”
(Beast from the Sea, Beast from the Earth/False Prophet, People, John/Voiceover, Angel Chorus)
[Beast from the Sea – heavy, grinding rap]
Seven heads, ten horns, crowns in my grip,
Blasphemies flow with every lip.
Dragon gave power, throne and might,
Nations bow down, they love my fight.
Forty-two months I boast, I reign,
Make war on the saints, bring torment and pain.
All who aren’t sealed by the Lamb above,
Fall to my trap, deceived from love.
[Beast from the Earth / False Prophet – slick, hypnotic rap]
Two horns like a lamb, but my voice deceives,
Miracles flashing, the crowd believes.
Call fire from heaven, signs on the stage,
Lead them to worship the beast in rage.
Make an image talk, bow or die,
Mark on your hand, mark on your eye.
Without this sign, you can’t trade or buy,
Six six six—man’s number, lie.
[People – chanted, tribal rhythm]
Who is like the beast? Who can make war?
Deceived by the wonders, blind to the core.
Crowds in awe, we lift his fame,
Caught in the snare of a deadly name.
[John – narration, urgent flow]
I saw the rise, I heard the roar,
A counterfeit kingdom, a darkened score.
Yet wisdom’s here—let the mind discern,
The Lamb still reigns, the beast will burn.
[Angel Chorus – soaring counterpoint]
Fear God, give Him glory, let truth resound,
The Lamb is victorious, the beast is bound.
Patience of saints, keep faith, endure,
The mark of the Lamb is steadfast, pure.
Song 14 – “The Lamb’s Song”
(144,000, The Lamb, Angelic Voices, John)
[144,000 – joyful, driving rap]
Standing on Mount Zion, sealed and true,
Name of the Father shining through.
We follow the Lamb wherever He goes,
Pure and blameless, holiness shows.
Firstfruits redeemed, no shadow of guile,
Through fire, through flood, we walked every mile.
[The Lamb – radiant gospel-rap]
I am the Shepherd, your Guide, your song,
Through tribulation I carried you strong.
Harvest is ripe, angels swing wide,
Gather the wheat, let the chaff subside.
[Angelic Voices – soaring chorus]
Holy! Worthy! New song we raise,
Echoes of heaven, eternal praise.
No one can learn it, it’s ours to sing,
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, our King.
[John – narration over rhythm]
I heard the roar, like rushing seas,
A symphony thundering through galaxies.
The Lamb on Zion, His people stand,
A kingdom unshaken, forever at hand.
[Full Company – finale hook]
New song rising, forever we bring,
The Lamb’s our Shepherd, our Kingdom, our King!
Song 15 – “Seven Bowls”
(Seven Angels, Heavenly Voice, The Church Ensemble)
[Seven Angels – pounding rhythm, one by one]
First bowl—painful sores on those with the mark,
Second—sea to blood, every creature stark.
Third—rivers crimson, justice proclaimed,
“You gave blood to drink, your guilt is named.”
Fourth—the sun blazes, fire on skin,
Fifth—beast’s throne dark, kingdom dim.
Sixth—Euphrates dries, kings march for war,
Seventh—thunder roars, earth shakes to the core!
[Heavenly Voice – triumphant rap/chant]
“It is done!” lightning splits the sky,
Babylon crumbles, her towers die.
Islands flee, mountains fall,
Hailstones pound with a judgment call.
[The Church Ensemble – defiant chorus]
Seven bowls, wrath complete,
Justice rolls, no retreat.
Holy, righteous, true are You,
The Judge of all, faithful and true!
[Full Company – unified shout]
Seven bowls poured, the end begun,
The Lamb will reign—the victory won!
Song 16 – “Babylon Fallen”
(Mighty Angel, Merchants & Kings, Sailors, John, The Church)
[Mighty Angel – solemn rap, echoing thunder]
Fallen, fallen, Babylon the great!
Luxury, sorcery, judgment at the gate.
Her sins piled high, her pride so tall,
In one swift hour she loses it all.
[Merchants & Kings – wailing lament]
Alas, alas! Our treasure’s gone,
Gold and silk, the jewels we pawn.
Spices, pearls, and scarlet attire,
Burned in the smoke of her funeral pyre.
[Sailors – mournful chant with rolling rhythm]
Woe to the city, clothed in wealth,
Now she lies ruined, stripped of health.
From the sea we watched her glow,
Now ashes rise where riches flow.
[John – aside, urgent rap]
Come out, My people, don’t share her ways,
Flee her plagues, her cursed days.
Rejoice, O saints, for the Judge is near,
Heaven exults as her end is clear.
[The Church – victorious chorus]
Babylon’s fallen, pride undone,
The Lord Almighty—His judgment won!
No empire stands, no idol saves,
The Lamb has triumphed—He conquers graves!
Song 17 – “Hallelujah Chorus”
(Great Multitude, Twenty-Four Elders, Living Creatures, The Church)
[Great Multitude – exuberant rap with gospel choir backing]
Hallelujah! Salvation and glory, our song,
Justice has spoken, He rights every wrong.
Hallelujah! Babylon’s smoke ascends,
Her pride destroyed, her power ends.
Lift up the shout, let the nations hear,
The wedding of the Lamb is drawing near!
[Twenty-Four Elders & Living Creatures – call-and-response chant]
Amen! Hallelujah! He reigns supreme!
Praise to our God, fulfiller of dream.
The throne is steady, His word stands tall,
The Lamb is worthy—crowned Lord of all!
[Great Multitude – swelling refrain]
Blessed are those invited to the feast,
The table’s set, the joy increased.
Clothed in white, the bride is pure,
Hallelujah forever—His reign is sure!
[The Church – final layer, gospel shout]
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
The Lord our God Almighty reigns!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Forever and ever His kingdom remains!
Song 18 – “Rider on the White Horse”
(John, Jesus/Rider, Armies of Heaven, Angel Ensemble)
[John – epic battle rap]
Heaven opens—behold the sight,
A Rider appears on a horse of white.
Faithful and True, His judgments burn,
With fire in His eyes, the nations turn.
On His head many crowns that shine,
A secret name, beyond design.
Robe dipped crimson, blood divine,
The King of kings rides, the end of time!
[Jesus (Rider) – triumphant rap]
I am the Word, eternal flame,
Sword from My mouth strikes down in My name.
Rule with a rod, tread the press of wrath,
The wine of God spills on this path.
Beast and prophet seized in strife,
Cast in the fire, robbed of life.
Armies fall, but My reign survives,
The Lamb has conquered—the world revives.
[Armies of Heaven – chant/chorus]
Clothed in white, we ride behind,
Justice marches, the King defined.
King of kings! Lord of lords!
On His thigh, inscribed in swords.
[Angel Ensemble – final cry]
Call the birds, feast on kings,
The Lord of Hosts His victory brings.
Hallelujah, the battle’s won,
The Rider reigns—the Holy One!
Song 19 – “Judgment and the Books”
(John, God’s Voice, Angel Ensemble, The Church)
[John – sobering rap]
I saw a throne, great and white,
Earth and sky fled, no place in sight.
The dead stood up, both small and great,
Books were opened, sealed their fate.
Another book—the Lamb’s own life,
Names inscribed cut sharper than knife.
Each judged by deeds their hands have done,
Justice complete, the verdict begun.
[God’s Voice – authoritative]
I am Alpha and Omega, First and Last,
All history bends, all shadows cast.
He who overcomes will be My child,
Enter the kingdom undefiled.
But liars, idolaters, cowards in flame,
Their portion’s the second death, shame.
[Angel Ensemble – chant]
Books are opened, truth revealed,
Every secret now unsealed.
Life or judgment, mercy or loss,
All weighed out by the Lamb on the cross.
[The Church – reflective chorus]
Holy Judge, righteous King,
Before Your throne our hearts we bring.
Our names in the book, our hope secure,
By Your mercy we endure.
Song 20 – “New Heaven, New Earth (Grand Finale)”
(God, John, Prophets, Apostles, Full Cast, Choir)
[God – tender yet thunderous]
Behold—🌟 I make all things new,
New heaven, new earth, faithful and true.
No more death, no more tears, no pain,
The old has passed—only grace remains.
[John – awe-filled rap]
I saw the City, bride dressed bright,
Jerusalem descending, clothed in light.
Foundations with jewels, gates never close,
Glory of the Lamb in her streets it glows.
River of life down the middle flows,
Tree for the nations, healing it grows.
[Prophets (echoes of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel)]
New covenant, new heart, promise kept,
Valley of bones where the dead once slept.
Swords to plowshares, lions at peace,
Everlasting kingdom, justice released.
[Apostles (Peter, Paul, James, John)]
Faithful in exile, we ran the race,
Now crowned with glory, we see His face.
Grace upon grace, the story is true,
Christ the Beginning, Christ breaking through.
[Choir – gospel swell]
🎶 Holy, holy, worthy the Lamb,
Alpha, Omega, Great I Am!
Every tribe, every tongue,
Together forever, redemption sung! 🎶
[Chorus – final invitation]
The Spirit and the Bride say, Come, drink free,
Living water flows eternally.
Blessed are those who hold to this Word,
Love everlasting, promise assured.
[Full Cast – triumphal refrain]
From garden lost to city restored,
All creation bows before the Lord.
New heaven, new earth, His glory revealed,
The story completed, the scroll unsealed!
[Final unison – whispered then thundered]
Amen… AMEN!
Come, Lord Jesus… again!
