Verse 1
God, I keep tallying mercy
For all You’ve poured out in my days
The closer I look at the small things (the small things)
The more of Your kindness I see
Every breath is a witness
Every sunrise speaks grace
Even trials that shook me
Were shaping my praise
Pre-Chorus
Father, while still here on this earth
I know time is slipping me by
But I’ll go on counting the blessings
Aware they’re too many to try
I’ll go on counting the blessings
Aware they’re too many to try
Chorus (Lift)
So I count, I count, I count Your mercy
Name by name, it covers me
Every scar turned testimony
Love too wide to measure me
I count, I count, I count Your goodness
Wave on wave it carries me
All my days are wrapped in promise
Endless grace surrounding me
Drop 1 (FreEDM Hook)
Counting mercy — mercy on mercy
Counting mercy — new every morning
Counting mercy — I can’t outrun it
Your love keeps chasing me
(Ohhh ohhh ohhh — mercy on mercy)
(Ohhh ohhh ohhh — grace on grace)
Verse 2
God, when I trace back the story
Through valleys and mountaintop light
You were steady before me
And faithful behind
What I called disappointment
You were weaving for good
If I counted each rescue
I never could
Pre-Chorus 2 (Build Bigger)
Father, my life is a vapor
But Your faithfulness stands through time
So I’ll praise You now in the present
And trust You with what’s behind
I’ll praise You now in the present
And trust You with what’s behind
Chorus (Full Energy)
So I count, I count, I count Your mercy
Name by name, it covers me
Every scar turned testimony
Love too wide to measure me
I count, I count, I count Your goodness
Wave on wave it carries me
All my days are wrapped in promise
Endless grace surrounding me
Drop 2 (Bigger, Festival Energy)
Mercy on mercy
Grace on grace
Every morning
New every day
Mercy on mercy
Won’t let go
Every season
You overflow
(Hands up chant section:)
You’ve been good — good to me
You’ve been good — endlessly
You’ve been good — I can see
You’ve been good — faithfully
Bridge (Half-Time Worship Moment)
If I had ten thousand tongues
Still wouldn’t be enough
To thank You for the breath in my lungs
Or the blood that covered us
If I wrote for a thousand years
Still couldn’t find the sum
Of every time You drew me near
And called me Your son
Bridge Build (Stacked Harmonies)
Every heartbeat mercy
Every step Your grace
Every failure covered
By love I can’t replace
Every morning rising
Every night You stay
All my life I’ll testify
You never walked away
Final Chorus (Explosive)
So I count, I count, I count Your mercy
Higher than the sky above
Every moment You’ve been faithful
Every breath a gift of love
I count, I count, I count Your goodness
Till my final day is done
When I stand before Your glory
Still I’ll say — You’re the One
Outro (Atmospheric)
Counting mercy…
Counting grace…
All my life…
All my days…
Mercy on mercy
Grace on grace
I’ll be counting
Face to face
