Intro

Verse 1

My heart is searching
For your lovely face
Where can I find you?
I long to see you again
My soul is thirsting
I want to know you more
Where will you feed me?
My heart is hungry again

Chorus

You always carry me
And lift me up above my enemies
You know just what I need
Wherever I go, Lord lead
Fill my heart with your love
Send your spirit from above
My first love

Verse 2

You’re my desire
The best thing I have
Nothing else matters
When I’m with you
Lord take me deeper
Let me know your heart
You are the answer
To my every need
Your mercy, your beauty
Awakes me to sing

Chorus

You always carry me
And lift me up above my enemies
You know just what I need
Wherever I go, Lord lead
Fill my heart with your love
Send your spirit from above
My first love

Outro

Lord catch the foxes
That spoil the vine
Make me a pure stream
For your glory alone
You’re the kind of God
That I’ve longed for
